AROUND THE WORLD IN FIVE DAYS:

A Cultural Drama Camp

What is it?: A drama camp that explores stories and theatre styles from different cultures around the world.

What will we do?: Each day, campers will “visit” a new country by acting out folktales, creating characters, and learning music and movement inspired by global traditions.

What will we learn?: Campers will build acting, storytelling, and teamwork skills while exploring different cultures and performance styles.

What are the details?: From African trickster tales to Japanese kabuki and Indian myths, campers will bring international stories to life through theatre—no passport needed!

Who teaches?: An experienced teaching artist leads campers in a fun and respectful exploration of global stories and dramatic play.

Do we perform?: Yes! Campers will act out scenes and characters inspired by their “travels” throughout the week.

Is there a final showcase?: Yes! Families are invited to a short, informal showcase at the end of the week to see the highlights from the global adventure.
