LITTLE BARDS:

AN INTRODUCTION TO SHAKESPEARE

What is it?: A fun and gentle drama camp that introduces the magical world of Shakespeare through play and imagination.

What will we do?: We’ll explore stories full of fairies, kings, queens, jesters, and animals! Campers will act, move, and play through simple versions of Shakespeare’s most exciting tales.

What will we learn?: Campers will learn to express big emotions, use their voices, and create characters. They’ll also hear and play with Shakespeare’s language through fun songs, rhymes, and chants—no reading needed!

What are the details?: Each day includes storytelling, theatre games, movement, and group activities that build creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

Who teaches?: A kind and experienced teaching artist helps campers explore theatre in a joyful, age-appropriate way.

Do we perform?: Yes—but it’s all about fun and participation, not perfection.

Is there a final showcase?: Yes! Families are invited to an informal sharing where our Little Bards can shine on stage.
