Based on a story by Mark Twain

Directed by Glenn Kelman

When a down-on-his-luck detective is drawn into a baffling mystery in the American West, nothing is quite as it seems. Packed with mistaken identities, eccentric characters, outrageous twists, and Mark Twain's signature wit, The Double-Barreled Detective Story blends mystery, satire, and farce into a wildly entertaining theatrical adventure. As secrets unravel and unlikely heroes emerge, audiences are treated to a clever comedy that proves the truth can be stranger—and funnier—than fiction.
