Classes are held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive
Classes begin the week of September 8th, 2024 unless otherwise noted.
Improv
Discover and develop your improv skills such as focus, teamwork, mime, trust, communication, character, and agreement (“YES and”). Apply what you learn to various games and exercises. This fun and supportive environment leads to improved people skills, self-expression, and increased spontaneity. 8 weeks
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration is open now for Torrance residents and non-residents!
Registration can be completed online, or at the Registration Office. Every participant must have a profile in the City's registration system to register. Proof of residency is required. The Registration Office is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. alternating with a closed Friday every other week. The Registration Office will be closed: September 2, 6 and 20; October 4 and 18.

Fees and Registration Information
The fees listed represent costs for residents (R)/non-residents (NR).
Financial assistance may be available to Torrance residents for children under the age of 18 years of age for Torrance Community Services Department classes and programs. Guidelines have been established to assist families who are residents of the City of Torrance. Scholarships are based on need, merit, and availability of funding. Cancellation and Refund Policy
The City of Torrance’s refund policy varies among individual classes/activities. Not all fees are refundable; 20% administrative fee deducted per class. A full refund will ONLY be issued for city-cancelled classes.
